The World Design Studio offers customers the opportunity to personalize their new home with over 10,000 available selections. Our experienced design professionals will guide you through the process and help you select the options that are just right for you and your new home.
Design Process
Your OTOW Sales Associate will forward your Purchase Agreement that will include the neighborhood, home site, floor plan, exterior elevation and any structural modifications you selected to the Design Studio team. The Design Studio Receptionist will contact you within 48-hours to set up your 2 day design appointment.
After Appointment
Sales administration will send you a revised payment schedule with the amount of your next deposit. No deposits are received at the Design Studio. Your home plans will be sent to our Drafting department and will be redrawn to include any structural and electrical modifications you selected. Afterwards, your home plans are sent to the county for permitting. This estimated timeframe is five-to-six weeks but could be longer based on your anticipated start date.
Design Review
Here is where the fun really begins! Your Design Consultant will be prepared and ready to assist you with putting together the interior design elements of your new home. This appointment is broken down into two days. This way there is plenty of time for you to review and discuss your selected options. When you return for your final appointment on day 2, your design consultant will answer your questions and help you with any changes you need to make.
Initial Design
If your schedule permits, a short browse appointment can be set before your actual design appointment. This one-hour appointment is where you can browse the Design Studio and discuss your budget, style and preferences with one of our design liaisons. If you are unable to browse first, don’t worry. There is plenty of time during your design appointment to see everything available to make your selections.
